Toy giant Mattel is dipping its toe into the live-action movie business for the first time ever with Max Steel, and, following the release of the first international trailer just last week, the first domestic (U.S.) trailer has finally hit.

Directed by Stewart Hendler (Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn), from a script by Christopher Yost (Thor: The Dark World), Max Steel took forever to arrive. Heck, the first official pics were released back in 2014! Sheesh.

The movie stars Ben Winchell (Necessary Roughness), Ana Villafañe (Hiding), Maria Bello (The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor), Andy Garcia (Ocean’s Eleven) and Mike Doyle (Green Lantern, The Invitation). Josh Brenner (The Internship) provides the voice for Steel. Fun fact: Max Steel actually started out as a Mattel action figure before becoming an animated series on Disney XD.
